Artist's Note

This is a high-energy illustration inspired by Luffy's Gear 5 spirit in One Piece. I wanted to get that infectious, unrestrained freedom of the character down in bold, clean ink lines. The circular hatching around the straw hat mimics spinning momentum, while the punchy red cardigan breaks up the monochrome palette and gives it that classic manga cover intensity.
