The Future Is Ours to Build

Artist's Note

I drew this one entirely in red ballpoint, blending conceptual surrealism with a bit of socio-cultural hope. A profile silhouette is framed by vintage scrollwork, and inside it the continent of Africa takes shape, mapped straight onto the subject's mind. Along the neck and back, figures help each other climb an uphill trail toward a bustling modern skyline. It's my way of pointing at communal uplift, generational progress and the idea that we rise together.
